Comparative Meta‐Analysis of Antimicrobial Peptides in Aquatic and Terrestrial Livestock Species

A global meta‐analysis of 58 studies (926 effect sizes and 29 species across five taxa) revealed that dietary antimicrobial peptides generally improve growth performance, blood metabolites, and immune responses. Interleukin‐5, Eosinophils, and Interleukin‐5 Pathway Inhibitors in Eosinophilic Granulomatosis With Polyangiitis

Interlukin‐5 (IL‐5) plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) by promoting eosinophil differentiation, activation, and survival. We present here a typical case of EGPA in which treatment with IL‐5 pathway inhibitors is prescribed, showing to be beneficial for the patient.

Romosozumab and Denosumab Combination Therapy After Denosumab in Postmenopausal Osteoporosis

Objective Transition from long‐term denosumab (Dmab) to parathyroid hormone‐analogs or romosozumab (Romo) might expose patients to the risk of the so‐called rebound phenomenon. Adding Romo to Dmab might represent an option in patients experiencing a fracture while on Dmab.
