The Interoperability Challenge in DFT Workflows Across Implementations

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Interoperability and cross‐validation remain major challenges in the computational materials science. In this work, we introduce a common input/output standard that enables internal translation across multiple workflow managers—AiiDA, PerQueue, Pipeline Pilot, and SimStack—while producing results in a unified schema.

MusicSwarm: Biologically Inspired Intelligence for Music Composition

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Biologically inspired swarms of frozen foundation models self‐organize to compose complex music without fine‐tuning. By coordinating through stigmergic signals, decentralized agents dynamically evolve specialized roles and adapt to solve complex tasks.

The Effects of Self-efficacy on Self-regulated Vocabulary Learning [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
This study examined the effects of self-efficacy on self-regulated vocabulary learning. A model of motivated vocabulary learning by Tseng and Schmitt (2008) was used to see the effects of self-efficacy on the phases (planning, practice, and evaluation ...

The German Auditory and Image (GAudI) vocabulary test: A new German receptive vocabulary test and its relationships to other tests measuring linguistic experience.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
Humans acquire word knowledge through producing and comprehending spoken and written language. Word learning continues into adulthood and knowledge accumulates across the lifespan. Therefore, receptive vocabulary size is often conceived of as a proxy for

OntoLogX: Ontology‐Guided Knowledge Graph Extraction From Cybersecurity Logs With Large Language Models

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
OntoLogX is an autonomous AI agent that uses large language models to transform unstructured cyber security logs into ontology grounded knowledge graphs. By integrating retrieval augmented generation, iterative correction, and a light‐weight log ontology, OntoLogX produces semantically consistent intelligence that links raw log events to MITRE ATT & CK
