Construction of a Voice Coil Actuator Array for an Adaptive Optics System
Optical Design and Fabrication 2017 (Freeform, IODC, OFT), 2017We are developing a prototype deformable mirror with engineered ceramic material for adaptive optics in high-power applications. We report preliminary test results from a voice-coil actuator array intended to drive this mirror at kHz rates.

Design and Optimization of a Voice Coil Actuator for Precision Motion Applications

Application of voice coil actuator to the measurement of rubber mounts properties

2001Many microgravity experiments require very low levels of acceleration which cannot be achieved on the International Space Station due to the residual vibration. A vibration isolation system is then usually devised between the experiment and the space station to obtain the desired accelerations at the experiment level.
