A Voltage-Mode Universal Biquadratic Filter Using DDCCTA

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2016
This paper presents a new voltage-mode (VM) universal biquadratic filter using differential difference current conveyor transconductance amplifier (DDCCTA) as an active element. The circuit employs one DDCCTA, two floating resistors and two floating capacitors which can realize five biquadratic filters, namely low-pass (LP), band-pass (BP), band-stop (

Haptic Performance Using Voltage-Mode Motor Control

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2020
Haptic devices driven by dc motors are usually controlled in current mode due to the direct relationship between current and torque. This paper analyzes the performance of voltage-mode controllers whose main drawback is that the torque of the actuator depends on its electrical dynamics.

Voltage mode SMC of DC-DC buck converters

2016 IEEE 25th International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE), 2016
This paper presents an output-feedback continuous SMC with integral action for voltage regulation of a buck DC-DC converter in continuous-conduction mode (CCM). The averaged state-space model is first transformed to normal form, with the new states being the output and its derivative.

New Voltage-Mode Sinusoidal Oscillators Using VDIBAs

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2019
This paper presents two new voltage-mode sinusoidal oscillators based on voltage differencing inverting buffered amplifier (VDIBA). The first proposed circuit exhibits independent and electronic control of oscillation condition by using the bias current of the VDIBA.

An Improved Voltage-Mode Controller for the Quadratic Boost Converter

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2022
An improved voltage-mode controller (VMC) for the single-switch conventional quadratic boost converter (CQBC) is presented. It has a structure different from those of the existing voltage-mode controllers in that it avoids the possibility of dividing by zero and finding the square root of a term which could be negative.

Voltage-mode MOS-only all-pass filter

2011 34th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP), 2011
In this study, a simple voltage-mode first-order all-pass (AP) filter implementation is presented which employs only MOS transistors instead of active elements like CCH, CDBA, FTFN, etc. that include large number of transistors. Transconductance (g m ) and gate-to-source parasitic capacitance (C gs ) of the transistors are employed to form the AP ...

A Class-G Voltage-Mode Doherty Power Amplifier

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2017
This paper presents the combination of two back-off efficiency enhancement techniques, the voltage-mode Doherty and the class-G switched-capacitor power amplifier (PA), to achieve efficiency peaking at both 6 and 12 dB back off without introducing the mode-switching glitches present in previous architectures. The proposed technique enables transmission

Voltage-Mode Fractional-Order Filters

2017
This chapter presents a voltage-mode technique for realizing fractional-order filters. Low-voltage OTAs are employed as active elements. Fractional-order filters are designed with the additional benefit that different types of filter functions are realized using the same topology. As a result, the resulted filter functions are generalized.

Voltage-Mode Multifunction and Universal Biquads with Two CFOAs

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers
In this paper, a new voltage-mode (VM) multifunction filter including only two grounded capacitors, three resistors, and two current feedback operational amplifiers is introduced. This filter with one high input impedance and two low output impedances can simultaneously provide band-pass filter (BPF) and low-pass filter (LPF) responses with an ...

The electrothermal macromodel of voltage mode PWM controllers for SPICE

Microelectronics Journal, 2006
In the paper the problem of modelling PWM voltage mode controllers for SPICE is considered. SPICE library isothermal macromodel and a new form of the authors' electrothermal (including selfheating) macromodel of SG3525A controller are presented and compared. To illustrate the correctness and usefulness of these macromodels, some results of measurements
