Relationship between generator affinity and voltage profile improvement

This paper demonstrates the relationship between generator affinity and voltage profile improvement. Circuit theory and the partitioned Y-admittance matrix were used to derive the generator affinity for power system networks. Results show that the lowest voltages occur at buses without generator affinity.

The interpretation of radio-influence voltage profiles

Abstract A method for obtaining a radio-influence voltage (RIV) versus applied voltage profile is described. Typical results are presented and suggestions are made for their interpretation. The pass/fail levels given by various national standards and methods for applying atmospheric corrections are discussed.
