A novel dc-link voltage regulation method for single source hybrid multilevel inverters

open access: yes, 2010
This paper presents a novel dc-link voltage regulation technique for a hybrid inverter system formed by cascading two 3-level inverters. The two inverters are named as “bulk inverter” and “conditioning inverter”.

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Real time Electric Pattern Based Voltage Regulation Model for Improved Power Stability [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
Towards effective voltage regulation and power stability, there exist number of approaches available in literature. The methods consider the residual voltage in various power grids in maximizing the power stability. However, the methods suffer to achieve

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Consistency control of grid-connected substation voltage regulation based on photovoltaic inverter power coordination

open access: yesScientific Reports
Owing to the different access locations and capacities of distributed photovoltaics, there is inconsistency in the voltage regulation between the grid-connected areas, posing the difficulties for the power grid operation and control.

Analysis of existing methods of voltage regulation within the framework of developing questions of creation of the centralized system of automatic voltage regulation

open access: yesВестник Самарского государственного технического университета. Серия: Технические науки, 2020
The prevention and elimination of emergency conditions, as well as the reduction of energy losses in electric networks are urgent tasks. The solution of these problems, in some situations, is directly related to voltage regulation.

Voltage Regulation Using Recurrent Wavelet Fuzzy Neural Network-Based Dynamic Voltage Restorer

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
Dynamic voltage restorers (DVRs) are one of the effective solutions to regulate the voltage of power systems and protect sensitive loads against voltage disturbances, such as voltage sags, voltage fluctuations, et cetera.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Simultaneous communication and processor voltage scaling for dynamic and leakage energy reduction in time-constrained systems

open access: yes, 2004
We propose a new technique for the combined voltage scaling of processors and communication links, taking into account dynamic as well as leakage power consumption.

A power sharing series power BJT array with isolated low voltage control for AC power control applications

open access: yes, 2006
A technique for a continuously variable AC resistance using a series BJT array is presented. This array provides high power dissipation capability and uniform voltage and power distribution across the individual transistors. The array, controlled using a
