Study on the significant effects of ignition energy and gas volume fraction on gas explosion pressure and flame propagation speed

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan
The maximum flame propagation speed, the peak pressure and the pressure rise rate of gas explosion were studied under the influence of two factors of ignition energy and gas volume fraction, by using the orthogonal experimental method in a closed ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Design of Structural Parameters of Liquid CO2 Airtight Sand Blender

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2018
Based on the Venturi principle, a CO2 airtight sand blender model was established. Under the given processing parameters like treatment volume and sand carrying ratio, the influences of three structural parameters-pipe diameter, pipe length and ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

On the kinetics of phase transformation of small particles in Kolmogorov's model

open access: yesCondensed Matter Physics, 2008
The classical Kolmogorov-Johnson-Mehl-Avrami (KJMA) theory is generalized to the case of a finite-size system. The problem of calculating the new-phase volume fraction in a spherical domain is solved within the framework of geometrical-probabilistic ...

Equality Conditions for the Fractional Superadditive Volume Inequalities

open access: yesDiscrete & Computational Geometry
Abstract While studying set function properties of Lebesgue measure, F. Barthe and M. Madiman proved that Lebesgue measure is fractionally superadditive on compact sets in $$\mathbb {R}^n$$ R ...

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Two-Phase Inclined MHD Blood Flow in Porous Tumor Region with Concentration and Volume Fraction

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics
There are different approaches for treating invasive and non-invasive tumors. The flowing fluid (blood) provides the required nutrients to the tumors and absorbs the suspensions.
