All patients operated for oesophageal cancer in Sweden from 2013 to April 2018 were identified, and 246 patients were recruited to this population‐based nationwide Swedish study. The results show that longitudinal health‐related quality of life after minimally invasive oesophagectomy was similar to that of the open surgical approach.

This analysis assessed safety and efficacy of lisocabtagene maraleucel (liso‐cel), an autologous CD‐19‐directed CAR T‐cell product, in Japanese patients with R/R aggressive LBCL in Cohort 3 of TRANSCEND WORLD (NCT03484702). Liso‐cel demonstrated meaningful efficacy and a manageable safety profile in Japanese patients with R/R LBCL.

Approximately 15% to 20% of all patients experience severe pancreatitis, with a mortality rate nearing 20%. This condition is often linked to vascular complications, although mesenteric thrombosis is a rare presentation.

Multinomial logistic model for coinfection diagnosis between arbovirus and malaria in Kedougou [PDF]
In tropical regions, populations continue to suffer morbidity and mortality from malaria and arboviral diseases. In Kedougou (Senegal), these illnesses are all endemic due to the climate and its geographical position. The co-circulation of malaria parasites and arboviruses can explain the observation of coinfected cases.
