İbnü’l-Arabî’den yüzyıllar sonra yaşamış mutasavvıf Köstendilli Süleyman Şeyhî (öl.1235/1820) eserlerinde varlık konusunu işlemiştir. Köstendilli, 18. yüzyıldan 19. yüzyıla geçilen zaman diliminde bugünkü Bulgaristan’a bağlı Köstendil’de hayatını sürdürmüştür. O, sayısı otuzu bulan eserlerinde tasavvufî bakış açısını ortaya koymuştur.
