A Wald-type test statistic based on robust modified median estimator in logistic regression models
Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, 2017ABSTRACTIn this paper a new robust estimator, modified median estimator, is introduced and studied for the logistic regression model. This estimator is based on the median estimator considered in Hobza et al. [Robust median estimator in logistic regression. J Stat Plan Inference. 2008;138:3822–3840]. Its asymptotic distribution is obtained.

Robust Wald‐type tests under random censoring
Statistics in Medicine, 2020Randomly censored survival data are frequently encountered in biomedical or reliability applications and clinical trial analyses. Testing the significance of statistical hypotheses is crucial in such analyses to get conclusive inference but the existing likelihood‐based tests, under a fully parametric model, are extremely nonrobust against outliers in ...

Robust Wald-type test statistics based on minimum C-divergence estimators
Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, 2020Maji et al. [Robust statistical inference based on the C-divergence family. Ann Inst Stat Math. 2019;71:1289–1322] introduced the minimum C-divergence estimators and plugging them in the C-divergen...

A Note on Wald's Type Chi-squared Tests of Fit
Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2013The Wald's method for constructing chi-squared tests of fit has been formulated more accurately. It is shown that Wald's type statistics will follow the central chi-squared distribution if and only if the limit covariance matrix of standardized frequencies will not depend on unknown parameters.
