LLM‐Integrated Human–Robot Interaction System for Microrobots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This paper proposes an LLM‐based control framework for guiding microrobots using human natural language. This framework can convert the natural human speech into safe and executable command sets for reliable navigation in complex environments. The experimental results show high accuracy and robustness in task performance, demonstrating the potential of

Improvement of the Wald method applied to the evaluation of zero-inflated binomial linear functions

open access: yesActa Scientiarum: Technology, 2015
The Wald method is grounded on a statistic based on the asymptotic approximation of normal distribution. The method has shown incoherent values at a nominal level of confidence for the probability of coverage in intervallic estimates, mainly in small ...

Enhancing Maturation of Human Neuromuscular Organoids via Electrical Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A framework for on‐demand and non‐invasive exposure of human neuromuscular organoids (NMOs) to electrical stimuli is established to promote their maturation. The robustness and effectiveness of different stimulation regimes are evaluated via thorough characterization of organoid tissue structure and contraction capacity. Chronic electrical stimulation,

Integrated Single‐Cell and Spatial Analysis Reveals a Metabolic‐Immune Axis Driving Aortic Dissection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell and spatial profiling of 110 human thoracic aortic samples reveals a stromal–immune circuit driving aortic dissection. An elastin‐rich fibroblast subset is depleted with age and markedly reduced in disease, weakening aortic wall integrity.

The association of placental to fetal ratio with pregnancy duration

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica
Introduction Our objective was to study the association of placental size, fetal size, and placental size relative to fetal size (placental to fetal ratio) at gestational week 27 with time to spontaneous delivery.

UNA COMPARACIÓN ENTRE LA INFERENCIA BASADA EN LAS ESTADÍSTICAS DE WALD Y RAZÓN DE VEROSIMILITUD EN LOS MODELOS LOGIT Y PROBIT VÍA MONTE CARLO UNA COMPARACIÓN ENTRE LA INFERENCIA BASADA EN LAS ESTADÍSTICAS DE WALD Y RAZÓN DE VEROSIMILITUD EN LOS MODELOS LOGIT Y PROBIT VÍA MONTE CARLO

open access: yesRevista Colombiana de Estadística, 2005
In this paper we present a study which evaluates and compares the performance of hypothesis testing and confidence intervals based on Wald’s statistic with those based on the likelihood ratio statistic for probit and logit models.

Improved gradient statistic in heteroskedastic generalized linear models

open access: yes, 2023
In this paper, we obtain the Bartlett-type correction factor for the gradient test statistic in heteroskedastic generalized linear models (HGLMs). We present an extensive Monte Carlo study to evaluate the performance of the corrected gradient test in ...

Lactoferrin Deficiency During Lactation Causes Adult Obesity‐Related Metabolic Disease Through Persistent Adipose Dysfunction Driven by Impaired Adipocyte Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lactational lactoferrin deficiency exerts lasting effects on epididymal adipose tissue development from lactation into adulthood: it impairs adipocyte hyperplasia and induces pathological hypertrophy, resulting in lower body weight yet exacerbated metabolic dysfunction under a high‐fat diet in adulthood.

MiR‐940 Suppresses Ferroptosis by Controlling Expression of Key Regulatory Genes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A CRISPR‐based screening identified miR‐940 as a critical suppressor of ferroptosis in cancer. By coordinating the downregulation of pro‐ferroptotic genes with the upregulation of GPX4, miR‐940 establishes a regulatory network that protects against ferroptosis and correlates with poor clinical outcomes in distinct cancer entities.

As despesas familiares com educação no Brasil e a composição de gênero do grupo de irmãos

open access: yesEconomia Aplicada, 2009
