Tissue‐Adhesive Fabric‐Based Bioelectronics for Wearable and Implantable Applications
An implantable and wearable bioelectronic textile (iTextile) is introduced as a unified platform bridging wearable and implantable systems. By integrating a self‐healing polymer, stretchable silk fabric, conductive composite electrodes, and an adhesive hydrogel, the platform enables conformal, stable interfacing with soft tissues. The iTextile supports

Intra-Foot Energy Recycling Enhances Gait Economy in a Low-Profile Passive Foot Exoskeleton
The human foot possesses passive elastic mechanisms that recycle energy during gait, yet these mechanisms are largely neglected in walking assistance exoskeletons, which predominantly focus on the ankle joint leaving the foot’s distal energy ...

Chemically Fueled Systems Chemistry Across Length Scales
Chemically fueled reaction cycles regulate processes through single and multiple catalytic sites on the molecular and assembly scale. This gives rise to unique kinetically controlled properties/functions like spatio‐temporal catalysis, oscillations, optical properties, and perform work.

The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.

Optimizing exoskeleton assistance to improve walking speed and energy economy for older adults
Background Walking speed and energy economy tend to decline with age. Lower-limb exoskeletons have demonstrated potential to improve either measure, but primarily in studies conducted on healthy younger adults.
