Improvement of wall thickness uniformity of thick-walled polystyrene shells by density matching

Chemical Engineering Journal, 2014
Abstract The uniformity of wall thickness is one of the hardest specifications to fulfill for thick-walled polystyrene (PS) shells prepared by microencapsulation. To improve the wall uniformity of thick-walled PS shells, both density matching between the inner water phase (W1) and the oil phase (O), and that between the W1/O compound droplets and the

Dynamics of thick domain walls

Physical Review D, 1989
The dynamics of thick domain walls are studied in the context of the classical field theory for a real scalar field. We treat, by numerically solving the equation of motion for the scalar field, the collision of two plane-symmetric walls as well as the collapse of walls that have spherical and cylindrical symmetry.

Thick-wall Domes

2017
In parallel with old Mediterranean civilizations, Eastern-European civilizations were formed. In the areas of Eastern Europe, where woods were growing abundantly, marshy soils and heavier conditions for settlement occurred, structures were generally built in wood, including prestigious structures. Unfortunately, there are few historical records on this
