Electrolyte Additive Strategies in Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries: Recent Advances and Prospects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This article provides a comprehensive overview of the current status and future development directions of AZIBs electrolyte additives in three aspects: stabilizing zinc anodes (uniform deposition, inhibition of dendritic crystals), protecting cathodes (structural stability, inhibition of dissolution), and enhancing electrolyte stability (wider ...

GHRHR Deficiency Enhances Retinal Ganglion Cell Survival and Visual Functions in Experimental Glaucoma by Inhibiting Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Glaucoma, a major cause of blindness, involves retinal ganglion cell (RGC) degeneration. This study shows growth hormone‐releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR) deficiency preserves RGC survival and restores vision, unlike activation which only aids survival.

Sustainable Fabrication of Tailored Bone Substitutes: From High‐Throughput Scaffold Manufacturing, Scaled‐Up HMSC Expansion to Dynamic Cultivation in a Perfusion Bioreactor

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The demand for off‐the‐shelf biocompatible bone substitutes has driven the development of numerous independent in vitro technologies to generate products resembling physiological tissues. Due to technical challenges and overly simplified cultivation approaches/niches, the end‐products are often uniformly shaped and inferior to native bone ...

Sustainable Materials Design With Multi‐Modal Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Critical mineral scarcity, high embodied carbon, and persistent pollution from materials processing intensify the need for sustainable materials design. This review frames the problem as multi‐objective optimization under heterogeneous, high‐dimensional evidence and highlights multi‐modal AI as an enabling pathway.

The effects of short-duration static stretching of the lower extremities after warm-up exercise on endurance running performance

open access: yesThe effects of short-duration static stretching of the lower extremities after warm-up exercise on endurance running performance
Article Previous studies have concluded that static stretching impairs running economy and endurance running performance. However these studies examined long durations (90-120 seconds for one muscle) of static stretching. Another study reported that most athletes perform static stretching of each muscle for less than 20 seconds in their warm-up.

Ultrasound‐Responsive Piezoelectric Fibrous Membrane Promotes Neurological Recovery After TBI by Modulating Microglial Polarization via Restoring Mitochondrial Dynamic Homeostasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a novel therapy for traumatic brain injury TBI using a LIPUS‐responsive Piezoelectric fibrous membrane. It targets microglial mitochondria via in situ electrical signals, restoring homeostasis and reducing oxidative stress to promote an anti‐inflammatory M2 phenotype.
