LUNAR is a liver‐specific long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that is highly expressed in normal liver but becomes epigenetically silenced in hepatocellular carcinoma through promoter hypermethylation. Loss of LUNAR is associated with NOTCH activation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and metastasis, whereas restoring LUNAR restrains metastatic progression ...

The Influence of Heat and Holding Time on the Warm Forming of Al–Mg–Si Alloys
Warm forming of heat-treatable aluminium alloys can induce significant changes in their initial heat treatment, affecting both the forming process and the final in-service properties.

Effect of temperature and strain rate fluctuation on forming limit curve of 5083 Al-Mg alloy sheet
The temperature and strain rate have significant effect on the formability of Al-Mg alloy sheet during warm forming process. Forming limit curve (FLC) is widely used for predicting sheet failure in warm forming simulation. However, the current simulation

CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression
In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.

Warm-forming of pre-aged Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy sheet
Aluminium alloys of the 7xxx series are attracting the attention of automakers due to their high specific strength. However, widespread use of 7xxx series alloys for the production of car parts from sheet metal has so far been prevented due to their low ...

Repair of neuronal DNA damage in Alzheimer's disease by KCL‐286. (A) Amyloid‐β oligomers and plaques impair neuronal DNA repair pathways, leading to DNA double‐strand breaks and glial activation. (B) KCL‐286 activates RARβ/RXR signalling via retinoic acid response elements (RAREs), associated with increased BRCA1 expression, enhanced DNA repair and ...

Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane
An in vitro protocol measures miRNA uptake into endosomes isolated from mammalian cell extracts, which are free of subcellular contaminants. Performed at 37 °C in the presence of ATP, it ensures the import of single‐stranded miRNA into the endosomal lumen.

Validity of a Wearable Digital Insole for Assessing Gait ON and OFF in Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Gait impairment is a distinctive symptom of Parkinson's disease that negatively impact mobility. We assessed the validity of wearable digital insoles against a validated reference gait analysis system for measuring select gait characteristics in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods A comparative analysis between digital insoles
