ABSTRACT Decarbonization of the economy is a central challenge in the fight against climate change. Although most governments show clear commitment to limiting global warming, the drivers of corporate decarbonization remain underexplored. Using a dataset of 1052 firms from OECD, this article analyses how intangible assets and environmental innovation ...

Warm inflation in Weyl geometric gravity
We investigate the warm inflationary scenario in Weyl geometric gravity theory, in which the action is constructed by adding matter to the simplest conformally invariant gravitational action in Weyl geometry.

In the present work, we study the consequences of considering a new family of single-field inflation models, called power-law plateau inflation, in the warm inflation framework.

Investor Perceptions of Climate Policy: Insights From the US Inflation Reduction Act
ABSTRACT This paper provides the first event study evidence on how the Inflation Reduction Act's (IRA) dedicated climate provisions reshaped equity valuations in the US carbon‐intensive sectors. Focusing on environmentally sensitive industries (ESI), we analyze cumulative abnormal returns around the four key IRA milestones in 2022–2023.

Climate Change Risk and Financial Stability: Implications for European Banking Institutions
ABSTRACT This study examines whether climate change risk weakens banking‐system stability in the European Union and assesses how renewable energy adoption and energy‐related taxation moderate this relationship. Using panel data for 27 EU countries from 2012 to 2022 and applying fixed‐effects OLS, two‐stage least squares (2SLS), and robust generalized ...

Non-Gaussianity in the warm k-inflation
This paper presents and investigates non-Gaussian perturbations for the warm k-inflation model that is driven by pure kinetic energy. The two complementary components of the overall non-Gaussianity are the three-point and four-point correlations.

Warm inflation solution to the eta problem [PDF]
Warm inflationary dynamics is shown to satisfy both the slow-roll and density perturbation constraints for $m_ϕ \gg H$ or equivalently $η\gg 1$ and for inflaton field amplitudes much below the Planck scale, $ < m_{pl}$. I start by reviewing the two types of inflation dynamics, isentropic or cold inflation and nonisentropic or warm inflation.

Advancing Theory and Practice Concerning CO2e Emissions: A Time‐Based Tool for Organisations
ABSTRACT Although organisations are increasingly scrutinised on their CO2e emissions, economic growth is frequently encouraged. Eco‐efficiency–based initiatives—‘doing more with less’—could be a solution. The problem is that many organisations (e.g., smaller enterprises without access to specialist knowledge) have difficulties in gauging the impact of ...

Revisiting CMB constraints on warm inflation
We revisit the constraints that Planck 2015 temperature, polarization and lensing data impose on the parameters of warm inflation. To this end, we study warm inflation driven by a single scalar field with a quartic self interaction potential in the weak ...
