Logamediate Warm Axion Inflation in Light of Planck Data

open access: yesUniverse
Axion warm inflation is studied within the framework of Logamediate inflation. Using a novel approach, we constrain the parameter space of the model and find a reasonable region of free parameters compatible with the temperature, polarization, and ...

Back to Nature or Technology to the Rescue? Climate Managers' Preferences for Investment in Carbon Dioxide Removal

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Firms are increasingly looking into carbon dioxide removal (CDR), a set of options to take past emissions of greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere. Often two basic categories of CDR are distinguished: nature‐based solutions, such as planting trees or restoring wetlands, and technology‐based solutions, such as various forms of carbon capture ...

Two-field Warm Inflation and Its Scalar Perturbations on Large Scales

open access: yes, 2018
We explore the homogeneous background dynamics and the evolution of generated perturbations of cosmological inflation that is driven by multiple scalar fields interacting with a perfect fluid. Then we apply the method to warm inflation driven by two ...

Dynamics of warm power-law plateau inflation with a generalized inflaton decay rate: predictions and constraints after Planck 2015

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
In the present work, we study the consequences of considering a new family of single-field inflation models, called power-law plateau inflation, in the warm inflation framework.

Global Energy Corporations and Climate Change: The Role of Formal and Informal Institutions in Shaping Climate Change Risk Disclosure

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines climate change risk disclosure in the global energy sector, where firms face intense stakeholder scrutiny and legitimacy pressures. We develop a novel domain‐specific textual analysis measure to capture climate change risk disclosures, improving on prior approaches based on generic environmental terminology.

Sustainability Orientation and Sustainable Innovation: Can Organisational Resilience Clarify the Missing Link?

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Although firms that integrate a sustainability orientation (SO) may experience a significant improvement in their resource efficiency, many, particularly small‐ and medium‐sized enterprises (SMEs), still struggle with the complexities of incorporating sustainability into their business models.

Financial Constraints and Corporate Sustainability Performance: Do Climate Exposure and People's Climate Attention Matter?

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the relationship between financial constraints and a firm's sustainability performance. Our empirical analysis utilises a panel of 40,445 observations from 9466 listed non‐financial firms across 44 countries, spanning the period from 2002 to 2019.

Does Climate Risk Affect Employment Decisions? International Evidence

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the effect of climate risk on corporate employment decisions. Using a large sample from 41 countries, we find a positive association between climate risk and underinvestment in labor, notably manifesting as excessive employee layoffs.
