Reheating after swampland conjecture

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
The evolution of the universe started from a hot and dense Big Bang point. Temperature fluctuation map of cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation and initial seeds of large scale structures (LSS) are explained by an inflationary period in a very ...

Climate Risk and Tax Avoidance of Climate‐Sensitive Firms

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper studies corporate tax behavior under increasing risks related to climate change. Using observations for China's listed firms in climate‐sensitive sectors from 2000 to 2020, our results highlight that tax avoidance has been employed to hedge climate change risks for climate‐sensitive firms, whereas we do not find climate risk‐induced

Between Substance and Symbolism: How Resources and Organizational Facades Interact in Voluntary Climate Commitments

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Firms increasingly disclose their climate action strategies through voluntary initiatives, yet concerns persist about the substantive impact of such disclosures. This study investigates how internal resources interact with organizational facades—symbolic mechanisms designed to reinforce legitimacy to stakeholders—in shaping corporate climate ...

Warm affine inflation

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics
Abstract The warm inflationary scenario is investigated in the context of affine gravity formalism. A general framework is provided for studying different single-field potentials. Using the sphaleron mechanism we explain the continuous dissipation of the inflaton field into radiation, leading to the Γ = Γ0 T

Climate Change Initiatives, Environmental Management Training, and Firm Performance: The Trickle‐Down Effect of Board‐Level Gender Diversity on Gender Diversity in the top Management Team

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We examine the interrelationships among climate change initiatives, environmental management training, and firm performance while considering the trickle‐down effect of board‐level gender diversity on gender diversity in the top management team (TMT).

Construction of a robust warm inflation mechanism

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2003
A dissipative mechanism is presented, which emerges in generic interacting quantum field systems and which leads to robust warm inflation. An explicit example is considered, where using typical parameter values, it is shown that considerable radiation can be produced during inflation.

Does Greenwashing Wash Away Gen Z's Green Purchase Intention?

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Gen Z is playing a key role in advancing sustainability efforts by driving climate activism, promoting responsible consumption, and engaging in political discourse. However, research on the factors influencing Gen Z's green purchase intentions remains limited, particularly regarding the role of greenwashing perception in shaping these ...

Warm inflation in the light of swampland criteria [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2019
Warm Inflation seems to be the most befitting single-field slow-roll inflation scenario in the context of the recently proposed Swampland Criteria. We investigate the constraints these Swampland Criteria impose on Warm Inflation parameters and show that Warm Inflation is in accordance with both the current cosmological observations and the proposed ...
