Synergistic warm inflation

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2002
We consider an alternative warm inflationary scenario in which $n$ scalar fields coupled to a dissipative matter fluid cooperate to produce power--law inflation. The scalar fields are driven by an exponential potential and the bulk dissipative pressure coefficient is linear in the expansion rate.

Review of Gastrointestinal Capsule Robots: Materials, Actuation, Diagnostics, and Therapeutics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review examines gastrointestinal capsule robots through a systems engineering lens, covering shell materials, actuation and localization strategies, diagnostic modalities, therapeutic interventions, and commercialization status. By mapping the complete technological chain from fabrication to clinical deployment, this work identifies critical gaps ...

Non-minimal coupled warm inflation with quantum-corrected self-interacting inflaton potential

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
In this work, we investigate the non-minimally coupled scenario in the context of warm inflation with quantum-corrected self-interacting potential. We transform the potential in the Jordan frame to the Einstein frame and consider a dissipation parameter ...

A Novel Pak1 Activator Ameliorates ER Stress for HFpEF Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chronic metabolic stress is a major contributor to HFpEF progression. Under prolonged metabolic stress, Pak1 activity becomes impaired, contributing to disrupted ER proteostasis, cardiomyocyte apoptosis, fibrosis, and diastolic dysfunction. Mechanistically, Pak1 overexpression activates the ERK1/2–MNK1–eIF4E signaling axis, promotes translational ...

Warm Inflation with the Standard Model

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters
We show for the first time that warm inflation is feasible with standard model (SM) gauge interactions alone. Our model consists of a minimal extension of the SM by a single scalar inflaton field with an axionlike coupling to gluons and a monomial potential. The effects of light fermions, which were previously argued to render warm

Rainfall Shapes the Diversity of Soil Nitrogen‐Fixing Microorganisms Worldwide

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals the distinctive pattern and mechanism of rainfall driving the global biodiversity and biogeography of soil potential N‐fixing microorganisms, and constructs the theoretical framework. The results guide us on how to maintain ecosystem productivity under future climate changes (e.g., whether a specific region needs more N fertilizers ...

Adiabatic out-of-equilibrium solutions to the Boltzmann equation in warm inflation

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We show that, in warm inflation, the nearly constant Hubble rate and temperature lead to an adiabatic evolution of the number density of particles interacting with the thermal bath, even if thermal equilibrium cannot be maintained.

Warm multi-natural inflation

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics
Abstract Multi-natural inflation is studied in the context of warm inflation. We study the warm multi-natural inflation scenario with both linear and cubic temperature-dependent dissipation coefficients. The model is motivated by axion-like inflation models with coupling to non-Abelian gauge fields through a dimension-five ...

A Biofabricated Human Acinus‐on‐a‐Chip Unveils Mechanotransductive Drivers of Ventilator‐Induced Lung Injury via Decoupling Volutrauma and Barotrauma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This bioinspired acinus‐on‐a‐chip recapitulates VILI pathology, revealing that volutrauma drives P53/NF‐κB pathways while barotrauma triggers mitochondrial‐Wnt dysregulation. A fibrotic transitional cell cluster was identified. Pharmacological interventions targeting these pathways significantly ameliorated injury, establishing a mechanobiological ...

Constraining chameleon field driven warm inflation with Planck 2018 data

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2019
We investigate warm inflationary scenario in which the accelerated expansion of the early Universe is driven by chameleon-like scalar fields. Due to the non-minimal coupling between the scalar field and the matter sector, the energy-momentum tensor of ...
