UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.

An Analysis on Warp Tension During Weaving

open access: yesJournal of the Textile Machinary Society, 1958

A new flow chip in combination with multiphoton microscopy as a protocol for longitudinal 3D imaging of tissue calcification under shear stress

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Miniaturized flow chip platform enabling continuous perfusion and longitudinal multiphoton 3D imaging of vascular smooth muscle cell constructs under physiological flow. Brightfield imaging guides region selection, while CellTracker Green and mRuby‐labeled fetuin‐A visualize cells and mineral deposition, respectively. Magnesium supplementation markedly

Diffusion Spectrum Imaging Maps Early Axonal Loss and a Unique Progressive Signal in Neuronal Intranuclear Inclusion Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To delineate specific in vivo white matter pathology in neuronal intranuclear inclusion disease (NIID) using diffusion spectrum imaging (DSI) and define its clinical relevance. Methods DSI was performed on 42 NIID patients and 38 matched controls.

Value of MRI Outcomes for Preventive and Early‐Stage Trials in Spinocerebellar Ataxias 1 and 3

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the value of MRI outcomes as endpoints for preventive and early‐stage trials of two polyglutamine spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs). Methods A cohort of 100 participants (23 SCA1, 63 SCA3, median Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) score = 5, 42% preataxic, and 14 gene‐negative controls) was scanned at 3T up ...

Sediment recognition by warp tension monitoring of bottom otter trawling and applying the self-organizing map algorithm

open access: yes, 2021
Model towing experiments of a bottom trawl net with hyper-lift trawl door were conducted to investigate the effect of the bottom sediment (concrete, sand, gravel, and rock) on the warp tension of the overall trawl system.

Effect of Weft Yarn Type and Weaving Parameters on Surface Roughness and Drapeability of Woven Fabric

open access: yesJournal of Natural Fibers
Comfort is a qualitative feature and one of the requirements that modern garment buyers place on their purchases. The purpose of this work is to study the effect of weft yarn type, weft yarn tension, warp yarn tension, and weft density on drape and ...

White Matter Microstructural Abnormalities in Neonatal Onset Genetic Epilepsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Recent evidence indicates that epilepsy is associated with abnormal white matter. If seizures alter white matter, then the impact upon network function, epileptogenesis, and cognition could be pronounced in neonates undergoing rapid developmental myelination. Neonates with epilepsy due to nonstructural genetic causes provide a unique

Microstructure, bending and shear properties of 2.5D shallow cross-linked Cf/Al composites

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2020
2.5D shallow cross-linked Cf/Al composites with volume fraction of 50% were fabricated by vacuum pressure infiltration. The microstructure, bending and shear properties at room and high temperature were studied. The failure mechanism of bending and shear

Effect of Structure on Vertical and Horizontal Wicking Performance Concerning Jute (Chorchorus Olitorius) and Water

open access: yesJournal of Natural Fibers, 2022
Vertical and horizontal wickings were studied for jute, a lingo-cellulosic natural fiber, as fiber, yarn, woven fabric, and nonwoven. The effect of yarn parameters (linear density, twist density, and tension), fabric type (plain woven, twill woven, and ...
