Water-cooling system with flat-plate solar radiators

Proceeding of Thermal Sciences 2004. Proceedings of the ASME - ZSIS International Thermal Science Seminar II, 2004
In this paper, the analysis of a flat-plate radiative panels operation, using average hourly weather data, was conducted. Radiative panels, with high-emittance surface cover, were integrated in the space-ventilation system with air-cooling by means of a cold-water coil.

Water-Cooled Fiber Optics Probe for Spectrally Resolved Radiation Measurements

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1972
A probe is described which can be swept through an emitting-absorbing gas layer. The signal is transmitted to a spectrograph by means of a light fiber duct. The probe has been tested for measuring line radiation intensities in a sodium seeded propane air flame. The results suggest the applicability of the probe in flames containing solid particles.

Water cooling radiation method for inverter system of hybrid electric vehicles

INTELEC 2009 - 31st International Telecommunications Energy Conference, 2009
Heat radiation method by heat plate inlay water pipe is applied in this paper for 1.8kW heat source of electric components. Heat plate inlay water pipe is effective in enduring water pressure. Changing water pipe's position for the better dissipation effect is investigated by Icepak 4.3 simulation tool.

A water-cooled EM applicator radiating in a phantom equivalent tissue-experiments and numerical analysis

IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 1991
A prototype of a water-cooled electromagnetic applicator for intracavitary hyperthermia has been tested. The temperature distributions produced in a polyacrylamide dissipative medium have been shown using liquid crystals. A complete electromagnetic and heat transfer model can predict the experimental temperatures.

Electromagnetic and thermal models of a water-cooled dipole radiating in a biological tissue

IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 1991
An insulated, water-cooled dipole, radiating in a biological tissue, is analyzed with a theoretical electromagnetic and thermal model. The SAR and temperature distributions are calculated taking into account the effect of the water flowing inside the applicator.

Numerical Simulation and Analysis of Water-Cooled Radiator Performance for Traction Converter

2013 Fifth International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation, 2013
The paper adopts two different simulation models to give a research on the performance measurement of water-cooled radiators. One simulation model is water-cooled radiator with simulation heating blocks, the other simulation model is water-cooled radiator with IGBT power components.

A low temperature water-cooled radiation calorimeter for estimation of concentrated solar irradiance

Solar Energy, 2018
Abstract Radiation calorimeter is a device for assessment of the incident local concentrated solar irradiance (CSI) onto a receiver surface. This is required to evaluate the performance of a concentrated solar thermal system using, for instance a volumetric receiver, for applications. In this paper a low-temperature water cooled radiation calorimeter

Shield Penetrating Water Cooled Bus Ducts for Radiation Resistant Magnets at J-PARC

IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity, 2008
The high intensity proton accelerator facility J-PARC is now in its final stage of construction. Soon intense primary proton beams will be slowly extracted to an experimental hall (HD-hall) and transported to a production target. Since the radiation level around the target will be very high, the beam line tunnel needs to be surrounded by 2.5 m-5 m ...
