Microtubule Inner Protein CFAP77 Contributes to Sperm Motility and Male Fertility in Mice
ABSTRACT Background Sperm motility is essential for male fertility, and its regulation is dependent on the structural integrity of the axoneme. The axoneme consists of a conserved “9+2” microtubule arrangement and is supported by microtubule inner proteins. However, the functional significance of many microtubule inner proteins remains unclear.

Background and Purpose Regular physical activity is an effective non‐pharmacological approach to hypertension management and maternal exercise improves offspring cardiovascular health, although mechanisms remain unclear. A‐kinase anchoring protein 150 (AKAP150) targets protein kinase Cα to L‐type Ca2+ channels (CaV1.2), enhancing vascular tone in ...

The value of saltbush revegetation for biodiversity in a highly fragmented landscape
Saltbush revegetation provides limited value for faunal biodiversity. Saltbush has the lowest species richness and diversity of ants, spiders, and birds. Remnant habitats continue to provide the most important habitats for native species. Abstract Secondary salinization is a significant global issue affecting up to 1 billion hectares of land, impacting

Abstract Groundwater in the upper Arkansas River corridor has been contaminated by elevated concentrations of dissolved solids in Arkansas River water. Most of the dissolved solids originate from the soils and bedrock in eastern Colorado, where river water is diverted for irrigation and storage systems, and evapotranspiration significantly increases ...
