Water ice at the surface of HD 100546 disk

open access: yes, 2016
We made near infrared multicolor imaging observations of a disk around Herbig Be star HD100546 using Gemini/NICI. K (2.2\,$\mu$m), H$_2$O ice (3.06\,$\mu$m), and L'(3.8\,$\mu$m) disk images were obtained and we found the 3.1\,$\mu$m absorption feature in

The promotion of drug rectal absorption by water absorption

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, 1985
Abstract The promotion of the rectal absorption of antipyrine by sodium taurocholate (TC-Na) or sodium ethylenediam-inetetraacetate (EDTA-Na) has been examined by in-situ recirculating perfusion in the rat. These promoters significantly increased water influx, efflux and antipyrine absorption clearance (CLAP).

Microstructure, Deformation Characteristics and Energy Analysis of Mudstone under Water Absorption Process

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
In geological engineering, a series of safety problems caused by expansive mudstone are common, such as slope instability and roadbed up-arch. In this paper, the mineral composition of mudstones in the Xining area was analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD),

Structural insights into lacto‐N‐biose I recognition by a family 32 carbohydrate‐binding module from Bifidobacterium bifidum

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Bifidobacterium bifidum establishes symbiosis with infants by metabolizing lacto‐N‐biose I (LNB) from human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). The extracellular multidomain enzyme LnbB drives this process, releasing LNB via its catalytic glycoside hydrolase family 20 (GH20) lacto‐N‐biosidase domain.
