Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

EDWNet: A Novel Encoder–Decoder Architecture Network for Water Body Extraction from Optical Images
Automated water body (WB) extraction is one of the hot research topics in the field of remote sensing image processing. To address the challenges of over-extraction and incomplete extraction in complex water scenes, we propose an encoder–decoder ...

Water quality degradation of Krivaja watercourse [PDF]
Based on the monthly monitoring of the relevant indicators of surface water quality during the period of analysis, from year 2006 to 2011, an unsatisfactory ecological status and frequent occurrence of the worst quality class was noted in the Krivaja ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Monitoring African water bodies from twice-daily MODIS observation
Building on the availability of high revisit frequency Earth Observation satellites at medium spatial resolution (250 m), this study investigates the feasibility of temporal monitoring of water bodies at a continental scale with MODIS.

Wave-body interactions for a surface-piercing body in water of finite depth
Nonlinear wave-body interactions for a stationary surface-piercing body in water of finite depth with flat and sloping bottoms are simulated in a two-dimensional numerical wave tank, which is constructed mainly based on the spatially averaged Navier ...

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.
