The water transport along graphene-based nanochannels has gained significant interest. However, experimental access to the influence of defects and impurities on transport poses a critical knowledge gap. Here, we investigate the water transport of cation

Flow velocity is a critical factor in determining the suitability of fish habitats. Understanding the preference patterns of the four major Chinese carps (FMCCs) for different flow velocities is crucial for their habitat conservation and restoration.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Simulating the fast transport of water through carbon nanotubes
Non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations are performed to investigate water transport through (7,7) CNTs and to examine how changing the CNT length affects the flow dynamics.

Transport timescales and tracer properties in the extratropical UTLS [PDF]
A comprehensive evaluation of seasonal backward trajectories initialized in the northern hemisphere lowermost stratosphere (LMS) has been performed to investigate the factors that determine the temporal and spatial structure of troposphere-to ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Circulation and transport in the western boundary currents at Cape Farewell, Greenland [PDF]
The circulation and volume transports in the western boundary currents around Cape Farewell, Greenland, are derived from full-depth hydrographic and velocity measurements from August-September, 2005. The western boundary currents from surface to seafloor

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Water transport through epoxy-based powder pipeline coatings
Hydration of epoxy coatings reduces adhesion performance and causes degradation of the material, such as microstructural failures. Quantification of water vapor transport at elevated temperatures is fundamental to understanding polymer coating ...
