Stability of water-in-oil-in-water type globules

Chemical Engineering Science, 1996
Abstract A method for producing a single water-in-oil-in-water (W/O/W) type globule is used to study its stability microscopically, by bringing the internal water droplets in contact with each other and with the external interface between water and oil.

A New Type of Water Dermatitis in Louisiana

Southern Medical Journal, 1960
A number of causes of “creeping eruption” are known and recognized in the southern states. However, one indigenous to the Louisiana swamps, though spoken of in colloquial terms by the residents of the area, has not been recognized as an entity until now. The authors describe Strongyloides myopotami,

The Quality of Potable Water Types in Jordan

Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, 2006
Four different potable water types: tap water, desalinated water in private plants, homes filtrated and sealed bottled water were collected from four provinces in Jordan and analyzed for various physiochemical parameters and trace metals content. The results showed that quality of potable water varied depending on many factors such as: water quality at

Types and Quantities of Water Demand

1994
Historically, water demand has been distinguished only according to broad usage, for instance, use by the urban, industrial, agricultural, recreational and environmental sectors. In our view, the exclusive reliance on the traditional approach of classification of water demand is both inadequate and in some respects misleading.

Norbornane-type water heptamer

Chemical Physics Letters, 1997
Abstract A new water heptamer structure of norbornane type is found via ab initio Hartree-Fock 6-311G ∗∗ calculation. Its H-bonded pattern is analyzed. Normal vibrations of the norbornane water hexamer are properly assigned.
