Thermally Robust Spin–Orbit Torque Switching in Low‐Resistivity Mo‐Alloyed β‐W Heterostructures
Mo‐alloyed β‐W heterostructures exhibit enhanced spin‐orbit torque efficiency, reduced resistivity and switching current density, and reliable operation from −50 to +150°C. The optimized W87.3Mo12.7 device achieves high spin Hall conductivity with thermal robustness, highlighting its potential for energy‐efficient magnetic memory and automotive ...

Spin Dynamics in the van der Waals Ferromagnet CrTe2 Engineered by Niobium Doping
Spin‐dynamic magnetic properties of van der Waals (vdW) ferromagnet 1T‐CrTe2 are tuned via niobium (Nb) as Cr1‐xNbxTe2 (x = 0–0.2). Nb doping enables wide‐band tuning of the resonance frequency from 40 GHz down to the few‐GHz regime, accompanied by a moderate increase in the Gilbert damping from ∼0.066 to ∼0.14.

Application of a Robin boundary condition to surface waves
Surface effects on deep-water gravity waves are investigated theoretically by the application of a Robin boundary condition with a complex Robin parameter, R=Rr+iRi.

A microfluidic device with magnetic microposts was used to assess platelet mechanobiology. The oscillatory actuation of posts with embedded iron particles was dampened by the dynamic stiffening of the platelet‐rich plugs. This stiffening process increased with applied load, but inhibiting platelet activation (ASA) or myosin contractility (blebbistatin)

Flexoelectrically Induced Polar Topology in Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes
Twisted SrTiO3 bilayers host polar vortices of flexoelectric origin, revealed through combined experiment and theory. By reconstructing polarization from the toroidal moment of strain gradients, the work establishes a 3D chiral state with broken inversion and mirror symmetries.

Slicks as Indicators for Marine Processes [PDF]
Monomolecular surface films ("sea slicks") are well known to dampen small-scale waves at the water surface, thereby influencing transport processes at the air-sea interface.
