Physical Review E, 2003A physiologically based continuum model of corticothalamic electrodynamics is generalized and used to derive the theoretical form of the electrocorticographic (ECoG) wave-number spectrum. The Physics of Fluids, 1978The spectrum of axisymmetric torsional Alfvén waves propagating in a cylindrical, nonuniform, resistive plasma waveguide has been analyzed by a method of singular perturbations. It is indicated why some experiments show a continuous spectrum and others a discrete spectrum.
