ADP‐ribosylation: An emerging regulator of the epigenome
ADP‐ribosylation has emerged as a dynamic epigenetic signaling mechanism that modifies histones and chromatin‐associated proteins. Through coordinated PARylation and MARylation, it integrates with other histone modifications to regulate chromatin structure, transcription factor activity, and gene expression, influencing genome function and disease ...

Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells
We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.

Reconstruction of the wave speed from transmission eigenvalues for the spherically symmetric variable-speed wave equation [PDF]
The unique reconstruction of a spherically-symmetric wave speed $v$ is considered in a bounded spherical region of radius $b$ from the set of corresponding transmission eigenvalues for which the corresponding eigenfunctions are also spherically symmetric.

Importin 7 mediates the nuclear import of HIV‐1 integrase via a specific interacting interface
HIV‐1 integrase enables viral DNA integration into the host genome. By binding to the core domain of the host protein Importin 7 via its C‐terminal domain, the integrase is transported across the nuclear membrane into the nucleus, where integration of the viral genome into host DNA takes place. This translocation is a critical step for subsequent viral

Wave-Speed-Independent Traveling Wave Fault Location Method for Flexible DC Transmission Lines
Accurate fault location in flexible DC transmission lines is essential for ensuring rapid fault clearance and system reliability. However, traditional traveling-wave methods are often affected by wave velocity variations and synchronization errors.

Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

ABSTRACT Objective Stereoelectroencephalography‐guided radiofrequency thermocoagulation (SEEG‐RFTC) has emerged as a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment for children with drug‐resistant focal epilepsy. Although evidence from real‐world studies remains limited, numerous pediatric cases have demonstrated promising outcomes. This retrospective

ABSTRACT Objective To characterize the demographic, clinical, and laboratory features of the Chinese patients of genetic Creutzfeldt‐Jakob disease with T188K variant (T188K‐gCJD), the most common subtype of genetic prion diseases (gPrDs) in China. Methods In this nationwide retrospective study, data from 98 genetically confirmed T188K‐gCJD patients ...

Cracks Faster than the Shear Wave Speed [PDF]
Classical dynamic fracture theories predict the surface wave speed to be the limiting speed for propagation of in-plane cracks in homogeneous, linear elastic materials subjected to remote loading. This report presents experimental evidence to the contrary.
