Assessing the wavefront aberrations of the emmetropic eye after a reading task
The main goal of this study was to investigate the effect of performing a near task on eye's optical quality.Wavefront aberrations data of 35 young emmetropic eyes were measured with the L80 Wave+: (1) ocular aberrations were measured with the wavefront ...

Wavefront aberrations in children with myopia and hyperopia before and after cycloplegia
Purpose: a comparative study of the effect of cycloplegia on wavefront aberration in children with myopia and hyperopia. Material and methods. The study involved 20 patients (39 eyes) with myopic refraction (averagely -5.2 ± 1,5 D) and 26 patients (52 ...

Optical Skyrmions with Tunable or Reconfigurable Topology Using Spin‐Decoupled Metaoptics
The work introduces advanced optical elements capable of generating and dynamically reconfiguring complex light patterns known as optical skyrmions. By precisely shaping light polarization at the nanoscale, a single engineered metasurface can generate and manipulate robust and tunable polarization textures in an efficient and scalable way.

Wavelength and Full‐Polarization Encrypted Orbital Angular Momentum Meta‐Holography
By multiplexing three independent degrees of freedom of light, a single‐layer geometric‐phase metasurface encrypts 24 distinct holographic images across 3 wavelengths, 12 pairs of orthogonal polarizations, and 4 OAM channels, taking advantage of axial chromatic dispersion to reconstruct the color images at the same plane. ABSTRACT Multiplexing multiple

Wavefront aberrations and the depth of focus of the human eye
The depth of focus (DOF) can be defined as the variation in image distance of a lens or an optical system which can be tolerated without incurring an objectionable lack of sharpness of focus. The DOF of the human eye serves a mechanism of blur tolerance.

Metasurface‐Based Polarization‐Controlled Generation of 128‐Dimensional Vector Vortex Combs
The generation and continuous control of 128‐dimensional vector vortex combs using a single metasurface is reported. This work creates a class of structured light that uniquely integrates ultrahigh dimensionality with vector properties, and represents a crucial step toward on‐chip, reconfigurable generators for ultrahigh‐dimensional vector structured ...
