A Generalized Henry-Type Integral Inequality and Application to Dependence on Orders and Known Functions for a Fractional Differential Equation

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
We discuss on integrable solutions for a generalized Henry-type integral inequality in which weak singularity and delays are involved. Not requiring continuity or differentiability for some given functions, we use a modified iteration argument to give an

Generalized Fractional Integral Operators on Generalized Local Morrey Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2015
We study the continuity properties of the generalized fractional integral operator Iρ on the generalized local Morrey spaces LMp,φ{x0} and generalized Morrey spaces Mp,φ. We find conditions on the triple (φ1,φ2,ρ) which ensure the Spanne-type boundedness

Categories of Open Sets in Generalized Primal Topological Spaces

open access: yesMathematics
In this research article, we define some categories of open sets over a generalized topological space given together with a primal collection. In addition, we clarify some of its characteristics and investigate the relationships between these concepts in

Dual pairs of sequence spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2001
The paper aims to develop for sequence spaces E a general concept for reconciling certain results, for example inclusion theorems, concerning generalizations of the Köthe-Toeplitz duals E×(×∈{α,β}) combined with dualities (E,G),G⊂E×, and the SAK-property

Revisiting Probabilistic Metric Spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Topology
The field of probabilistic metric spaces has an intrinsic interest based on a blend of ideas drawn from metric space theory and probability theory. The goal of the present paper is to introduce and study new ideas in this field.

Boundedness and Hölder continuity of weak solutions of the nonlinear boundary-value problem for elliptic equations with general nonstandard growth conditions

open access: yesMathematica Bohemica
Summary: We study a nonlinear boundary-value problem for elliptic equations with critical growth conditions involving Lebesgue measurable functions. We prove global boundedness and Hölder continuity of weak solutions for this problem. Our results generalize the ones obtained by P. Winkert and his colleagues (2012) not only in the variable exponent case

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Geometric characterization of generalized Hajłasz-Sobolev embedding domains

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis
In this article, the authors study the embedding properties of Hajłasz-Sobolev spaces with generalized smoothness on Euclidean domains, whose regularity is described via a smoothness weight function ϕ:[0,∞)→[0,∞)\phi :\left[0,\infty )\to \left[0,\infty ).

Network Localization of Fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Fatigue is among the most common symptoms and one of the main factors determining the quality of life in multiple sclerosis (MS). However, the neurobiological mechanisms underlying fatigue are not fully understood. Here we studied lesion locations and their connections in individuals with MS, aiming to identify brain networks ...
