Partial knowledge restrictions on the two-stage threshold model of choice [PDF]
In the context of the two-stage threshold model of decision making, with the agent’s choices determined by the interaction of three “structural variables,” we study the restrictions on behavior that arise when one or more variables are exogenously known.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Leveraging Python tensor contraction packages for evaluating finite element weak forms
A new implementation of finite element matrix evaluation functions in the finite element code SfePy is introduced, leveraging several Python tensor contraction packages that implement a general function for evaluating expressions given using the Einstein

Generalized multivalued $F$-weak contractions on complete metric spaces [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce the notion of generalized multivalued $F$- weak contraction and we prove some fixed point theorems related to introduced contraction for multivalued mapping in complete metric spaces.

In Situ Micromechanical Study of Bimodal γ′–γ″ Precipitate Assemblies in Ni–Cr–Al–Nb Superalloy
A Ni–Cr–Al–Nb superalloy with a bimodal γ′–γ″ precipitate distribution is developed. Composite precipitate assemblies form through heterogeneous nucleation, effectively impeding dislocation motion. Micropillar compression reveals high strength at room and elevated temperatures, governed by precipitate shearing, with coupled faulting mechanisms ...

Determining Strength of Muscle Contraction Using Electromyogram
The purpose of this study is to detect forearm muscle contraction strength through use of electromyographic signals. Using a C coding software program, an algorithm is established to first detect an electromyographic signal and then to determine the ...

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...
