Objective We examined whether 18 months of strength training in individuals with knee varus alignment and medial tibiofemoral osteoarthritis (OA) reduced knee joint loads during walking compared to an attention control group. Methods This study was a secondary analysis of a randomized clinical trial that compared the effects of strength training to a ...

Invariant Approximation Results via Common Fixed Point Theorems for Generalized Weak Contraction Maps [PDF]
A common fixed point theorem for generalized φ,ϕ,L f,g-weak contraction in a metric space is established. As an application, some common fixed point results in normed linear spaces are obtained. We also study some results on best approximation via common

Cyclic weak ϕ iterated function system
In this article, we are considering the cyclic weak ϕ-contraction and prove that the result is also true in Hausdorff metric space. We are constructing a cyclic weak ϕ iterated function system (IFS), which gives the self-referential set or attractor ...

Contractions, Cogenerators, and Weak Stability
A contraction semigroup T on a Hilbert space H and its cogenerator S define an algebra, the limit algebra - which determines the structure of the subspace of weakly Poisson recurrent vectors and gives a necessary and sufficient condition for T and S to be weakly stable equivalent.

Common fixed points for Ćirić type $f$-weak contraction with applications
We introduce a new conception of Ciric type f-weakly contractive mappings and the existence of common fixed points is established for Ciric type f-weakly contractive mapping T.

Discordance Between Patient and Physician Global Assessments in Early Systemic Sclerosis
Objective This study aims to identify factors associated with patient global assessment (PtGA) and physician global assessment (PhGA) and discordance between them in systemic sclerosis (SSc). Methods Data from adults with early SSc (<5 years) from the Collaborative National Quality and Efficacy Registry were included.

In real reflexive separable Banach space which admits a weakly sequentially continuous duality mapping, the sufficient and necessary conditions that nonexpansive random self-mapping has a random fixed point are obtained. By introducing a random iteration

Immunosuppressive Drug Use in Limited Systemic Sclerosis: An International Survey
Objective Current guidelines recommend immunosuppressive treatment for diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis but are less clear on their use in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) in the absence of internal organ complications. We conducted an international survey to understand current immunosuppressive drug prescribing patterns in lcSSc ...

The corrosion performance of AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg alloys produced through selective laser melting (SLM) was examined under compressive stress in a chloride environment. Electrochemical analyses, including open‐circuit potential (OCP), potentiodynamic polarization (CPP), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), were complemented by scanning ...

A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.
