The Multiple Sclerosis Severity Allele rs10191329A and Cognitive Function: A UK Biobank Study
ABSTRACT The genome‐wide association study of Multiple Sclerosis severity linked the genetic variant rs10191329A to long‐term disability and implicated brain resilience as a determinant of outcome. We hypothesised that rs10191329A might influence cognition in other neurological diseases and healthy controls.

Histopathological Evidence of Neurodegenerative Pathology in Epilepsy: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Epilepsy affects > 50 million people worldwide and is associated with a disproportionate burden of cognitive impairment. Emerging evidence suggests that neurodegenerative proteinopathies, particularly hyperphosphorylated tau (p‐tau) and amyloid‐β (Aβ), may contribute to cognitive dysfunction in people with epilepsy (PWE), even in the absence ...

Methyl 3′,4′,5′-trimethoxybiphenyl-4-carboxylate
In the title compound, C17H18O5, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 31.23 (16)°. In the crystal, the molecules are packed in an antiparallel fashion in layers along the a axis. In each layer, very weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds

Objective To support high‐quality, patient‐centered care for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) developed evidence‐based measures incorporating clinical and patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs). Using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), we conducted semistructured interviews ...

Influence of Weak Base Addition to Hole-Collecting Buffer Layers in Polymer:Fullerene Solar Cells
We report the effect of weak base addition to acidic polymer hole-collecting layers in normal-type polymer:fullerene solar cells. Varying amounts of the weak base aniline (AN) were added to solutions of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly ...

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Current driven weak double layers
Double layers in plasmas can be created by different means. For example, a potential difference forms between two plasmas with different temperatures (Hultqvist 1971; Ishiguro et al. 1985), in a plasma jet flowing along a converging magnetic field (Serizawa & Sato 1984), in a quiescent plasma submitted to an external difference of potential or in a

The corrosion performance of AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg alloys produced through selective laser melting (SLM) was examined under compressive stress in a chloride environment. Electrochemical analyses, including open‐circuit potential (OCP), potentiodynamic polarization (CPP), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), were complemented by scanning ...
