Multicolor Layer-by-Layer films using weak polyelectrolyte assisted synthesis of silver nanoparticles [PDF]

In the present study, we show that silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) with different shape, aggregation state and color (violet, green, orange) have been successfully incorporated into polyelectrolyte multilayer thin films using the layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly.

Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).

ABSTRACT Limit loads on finite layers of weak soil over a rigid base are analyzed using the upper bound approach. The soil is considered cohesive, and the Tresca yield condition is used to describe its strength.
