Ultrafast Near‐Ideal Phase‐Change Memristive Physical Unclonable Functions Driven by Amorphous State Variations

open access: yesAdvanced Science, 2022
There is an ever‐increasing demand for next‐generation devices that do not require passwords and are impervious to cloning. For traditional hardware security solutions in edge computing devices, inherent limitations are addressed by physical unclonable ...

Disordered bosons in one dimension: from weak to strong randomness criticality [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We investigate the superfluid-insulator quantum phase transition of one-dimensional bosons with off-diagonal disorder by means of large-scale Monte-Carlo simulations.

Weak limits for quantum random walks [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2004
We formulate and prove a general weak limit theorem for quantum random walks in one and more dimensions. With $X_n$ denoting position at time $n$, we show that $X_n/n$ converges weakly as $n \to \infty$ to a certain distribution which is absolutely continuous and of bounded support. The proof is rigorous and makes use of Fourier transform methods. This

An Approach of Randomness of a Sample Based on Its Weak Ergodic Limit

open access: yesJournal of Probability and Statistics, 2017
For a Polish Sample Space with a Borel σ-field with a surjective measurable transformation, we define an equivalence relation on sample points according to their ergodic limiting averages.

Numerical Replica Limit for the Density Correlation of the Random Dirac Fermion [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
The zero mode wave function of a massless Dirac fermion in the presence of a random gauge field is studied. The density correlation function is calculated numerically and found to exhibit power law in the weak randomness with the disorder dependent ...

Weak Balance in Random Signed Graphs [PDF]

open access: yesInternet Mathematics, 2014
In this article, we strengthen some results in our previous work on balance in random signed graphs and study the weak balance. We show that many of the phenomena observed for the balance of random signed graphs extend to weak balance.

An Image Encryption Algorithm Based on Logistic-Fibonacci Cascade Chaos and 3D Bit Scrambling

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Aiming at the problem that the existing bit scrambling encryption algorithm is not sensitive to the bit scrambling between 8 bits of one pixel, and the anti-noise and anti-selective plaintext attack ability is weak, a 3D cyclic shift bit scrambling image

Adaptive Enhancement for Coal-Rock Cutting Sound Based on Parameter Self-Tuning Bistable Stochastic Resonance Model

open access: yesAxioms, 2022
The traditional bistable stochastic resonance model has always had the drawback of being difficult when choosing accurate system parameters when a weak signal is enhanced.

Correlations in one-dimensional disordered electronic systems with interaction

open access: yes, 1996
We investigate the effects of randomness in a strongly correlated electron model in one-dimension at half-filling. The ground state correlation functions are exactly written by products of 3$\times$3 transfer matrices and are evaluated numerically.

Weak Randomness in Graphons and Theons

open access: yesRandom Structures & Algorithms
ABSTRACTCall a hereditary family of graphs strongly persistent if there exists a graphon such that in all subgraphons of , is precisely the class of finite graphs that have positive density in . Our first result is a complete characterization of the hereditary families of graphs that are strongly persistent as precisely those that are closed under ...
