Multimodal Human–Robot Interaction Using Human Pose Estimation and Local Large Language Models
A multimodal human–robot interaction framework integrates human pose estimation (HPE) and a large language model (LLM) for gesture‐ and voice‐based robot control. Speech‐to‐text (STT) enables voice command interpretation, while a safety‐aware arbitration mechanism prioritizes gesture input for rapid intervention.

From Lab to Landscape: Environmental Biohybrid Robotics for Ecological Futures
This Perspective explores environmental biohybrid robotics, integrating living tissues, microorganisms, and insects for operation in real‐world ecosystems. It traces the leap from laboratory experiments to forests, wetlands, and urban environments and discusses key challenges, development pathways, and opportunities for ecological monitoring and ...

Composition of Web Services Using Markov Decision Processes and Dynamic Programming
We propose a Markov decision process model for solving the Web service composition (WSC) problem. Iterative policy evaluation, value iteration, and policy iteration algorithms are used to experimentally validate our approach, with artificial and real ...

Un modèle de composition automatique et distribuée de services web par planification [PDF]
National audienceWeb services advent as an inevitable technology of the Web and its dissimination on a large scale, poses the problem of their automatic composition. Indeed, one of the most im- portant obstacle to the development of web services oriented

Protein restriction (PR) slows Alzheimer's disease (AD) in mice, and other benefits of PR are due to decreased branched‐chain amino acids (BCAAs). We show that restricting any BCAA has benefits, with sex‐ and BCAA‐specific impacts on pathology, molecular signaling, and cognition.

Itch‐induced tick removal (IITR): An acquired neuroimmune mechanism, itch‐induced tick removal, develops after repeated tick exposure, mobilizing T cells and macrophages at the tick bite site to trigger a rapid scratching response that facilitates timely tick removal within a critical window that precedes the transmission of many tick‐borne pathogens ...

CSPG4 is identified as a high‐value, stemness‐associated target in HPV‐negative HNSCC. By implementing rational biophysical engineering, a humanized and charge‐optimized CAR is developed to overcome tonic signaling‐induced exhaustion. This strategy induces a profound transcriptomic shift toward a rejuvenated, stem‐like memory state, significantly ...
