Stretch Tunable Active Frequency Selective Fabric for Dynamically Switchable Bandstop and Transparency

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 4, July 2026.
This stretchable active frequency selective fabric achieves reversible switching between bandstop and transparent states through strain‐induced reconfiguration of its conductive network. Its zero‐power and mechanically tunable characteristics offer potential for wearable electromagnetic functional materials.

Enhancing Mechanical and Physical Properties of Jute/JUCO/Glass Fiber Hybrid Composites Through TiO2 and CuO Microparticle Reinforcement

open access: yesSPE Polymers, Volume 7, Issue 3, July 2026.
Symmetrical Jute/JUCO/Glass hybrid epoxy composites were reinforced with TiO2 and CuO microparticles. Incorporating 3 wt.% CuO increased tensile strength by up to 63.7%, while 3 wt.% TiO2 maximized flexural and impact properties alongside superior moisture resistance, demonstrating that these fillers significantly enhance natural fiber biocomposites ...

Analysis and Control of Camera Type Weft Straightener

open access: yes, 2017
In general, fabric is heat-treated using a stenter machine in order to dry and fix its shape. It is important to shape before the heat treatment because it is difficult to revert back once the fabric is formed.

Estimating the deflection of weft yarn in plain woven fabric using yarn pull out test

open access: yes, 2015
A simple and practical model has been proposed to calculate the deflection of weft in a plain woven fabric using yarn pull out test. In this modeling, the weft yarn is considered as an elastic beam, which is fixed supported at ends, and deflected at the ...
