Weighted approximation by generalized Baskakov operators reproducing affine functions
Some extension of the Baskakov operators are introduced. The new operators reproduce affine functions. The rate of convergence of the associated approximation process is obtained in polynomial type weighted spaces. A Voronovskaja type result is included.

Approximation by weighted Durrmeyer-type max-product neural network operators
This paper introduces a class of weighted Durrmeyer-type max-product neural network operators, which generalize the Kantorovich variant by incorporating a flexible weight function.

Weighted Approximation by Szász–Mirakyan–Durrmeyer Operators Reproducing Exponential Functions
We examine a Szász–Mirakyan–Durrmeyer type operator that reproduces the functions 1 and e2ax for a fixed parameter a>0. While its exponential reproduction property has been described in the classical literature, the effect of exponential weights on its ...

Approximation of Discrete Data by Discrete Weighted Transform
The aim of this paper is to introduce the notion of discrete and inverse discrete weighted transform. We show that discrete input data can be converted to a continuous approximation through the inverse discrete weighted ...

A Survey of Weighted Approximation for Exponential Weights
Let W: R to (0,1] be continuous. Bernstein's approximation problem, posed in 1924, deals with approximation by polynomials in the weighted uniform norm ||fW|| Linfinity(R) . The qualitative form of this problem was solved by Achieser, Mergelyan, and Pollard, in the 1950's.

In this work, first of all, Lpw),Ө (T) weighted grand Lebesgue spaces and Muckenhoupt weights is defined. The information about properties of these spaces is given. Let Tn be the trigonometric polynomial of best approximation.

Approximation problems and weights [PDF]
This thesis is mainly concerned with investigations of approximation problems on spaces of analytic functions on the unit disc in the complex plane, which naturally arise in connection to spectral problems of certain classes of linear operators acting on the spaces in question.

Asymptotic weighted approximation of convex functions
Extending classical results on polytopal approximation of convex bodies, we derive asymptotic formulas for the weighted approximation of smooth convex functions by piecewise affine convex functions as the number of their facets tends to infinity. These asymptotic expressions are formulated in terms of a functional that extends the notion of affine ...
