Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Application of entropy weighted multivariate loss function for control of process parameters during drilling hybrid composites [PDF]
Composites are now being used to replace traditional metallic structures in a variety of industries that including aerospace, aircraft, and military, that demand structural materials of high stiffness-to-weight and strength-to-weight ratios. This work is

Recurrence Coefficients for Orthogonal Polynomials with a Logarithmic Weight Function
We prove an asymptotic formula for the recurrence coefficients of orthogonal polynomials with orthogonality measure $\log \bigl(\frac{2}{1-x}\bigr) {\rm d}x$ on $(-1,1)$. The asymptotic formula confirms a special case of a conjecture by Magnus and extends earlier results by Conway and one of the authors.

Approximating the weight function for orthogonal polynomials on several intervals
Results of the second author [Orthogonal polynomials: theory and practice, Proc. NATO ASI, Columbus/OH (USA) 1989, NATO ASI Ser., Ser. C 294, 435--462 (1990; Zbl 0697.42023); Theorems 6,12] on approximation of the weight functions for orthogonal polynomials on an interval are generalized for the case of several closed or open orthogonality intervals ...

Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.

Incorporating empirical orthogonal function analysis into lumped hydrological models with grid data
Study region: This study focuses on the Tuotuo River Basin (TRB), located in the headwater region of the Yangtze River. Study focus: We proposed an Empirical Orthogonal Function (EOF)-based framework to aggregate spatially distributed precipitation data ...

In this paper we study geometric aspects of the space of arcs parametrized by unit speed in the $L^2$ metric. Physically this corresponds to the motion of a whip, and it also arises in studying shape recognition.

A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.
