Optimizing Route Planning via the Weighted Sum Method and Multi-Criteria Decision-Making
Choosing the optimal path in planning is a complex task due to the numerous options and constraints; this is known as the trip design problem (TTDP). This study aims to achieve path optimization through the weighted sum method and multi-criteria decision

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Certain Polynomials with Weighted Sums
AbstractIn this note, we provide some examples of polynomials z n −p(z), where , and , a k ≥ 0 for eachk such that p(z) has all its zeros on |z|=c 1, and wedenote C(r) by the circle of radius r with center the ori-gin. It follows from Enestrm-Kakeya theorem [1] (see p.136 of [1] for the statement and its proof) to(1)where , a k ≥ 0 for each k that all

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

Sum and Weighted Sum Formulas for Fibonacci and Lucas Quaternions
Fibonacci and Lucas quaternions are deeply studied in the literature after its definition by Horadam in 1963. Binet formula, generation function, Cassini, Catalan, Honsberger, and other identities for these sequences studied in different quaternion algebra types like split quaternion algebra, dual quaternion algebra, etc.

Overview of molecular signatures of senescence and associated resources: pros and cons
Cells can enter a stress response state termed cellular senescence that is involved in various diseases and aging. Detecting these cells is challenging due to the lack of universal biomarkers. This review presents the current state of senescence identification, from biomarkers to molecular signatures, compares tools and approaches, and highlights ...
