We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

A weighted adjustment of a similarity transformation between two point sets containing errors
For an adjustment of a similarity transformation, it is often appropriate to consider that both the source and the target coordinates of the transformation are affected by errors.

WTLS iterative algorithm of 3D similarity coordinate transformation based on Gibbs vectors
The 3D similarity coordinate transformation is fundamental and frequently encountered in many areas of work such as geodesy, engineering surveying, LIDAR, terrestrial laser scanning, photogrammetry, machine vision, etc.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

An Improved Point-to-Plane Registration Method for Terrestrial Laser Scanning Data
Registration of point clouds is vital in point cloud data processing. By registering, the point cloud data from different views are transformed into a common coordinate system.

Estimating satellite and receiver differential code bias using a relative Global Positioning System network [PDF]
Precise total electron content (TEC) is required to produce accurate spatial and temporal resolution of global ionosphere maps (GIMs). Receivers and satellite differential code biases (DCBs) are one of the main error sources in estimating precise TEC ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

High-performance numerical algorithms and software for structured total least squares
We present a software package for structured total least squares approximation problems. The allowed structures in the data matrix are block-Toeplitz, block-Hankel, unstructured, and exact.

Effects of errors-in-variables on the internal and external reliability measures
The reliability theory has been an important element of the classical geodetic adjustment theory and methods in the linear Gauss-Markov model. Although errors-in-variables (EIV) models have been intensively investigated, little has been done about ...
