A Game-Theoretic Kendall’s Coefficient Weighting Framework for Evaluating Autonomous Path Planning Intelligence

open access: yesAutomation
Accurately evaluating the intelligence of autonomous path planning remains challenging, primarily due to the interdependencies among evaluation metrics and the insufficient integration of subjective and objective weighting methods.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Helical Gear Defect Detection System Based on Symmetrized Dot Pattern and Convolutional Neural Network

open access: yesIEEE Access
This study proposes a helical gear defect detection system based on Symmetric Dot Pattern (SDP) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). By converting the collected time-domain signals into SDP images and processing them with different delay coefficients ...

Geographically Weighted Panel Regression Modelling of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Data Using Exponential Kernel Function

open access: yesJTAM (Jurnal Teori dan Aplikasi Matematika), 2023
Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) model is a panel regression model applied to spatial data. This research takes the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) panel regression as the global model and GWPR as the local model for dengue hemorrhagic fever ...

Semivalues: weighting coefficients and allocations on unanimity games [PDF]

open access: yesOptimization Letters, 2017
Each semivalue, as a solution concept defined on cooperative games with a finite set of players, is univocally determined by weighting coefficients that apply to players’ marginal contributions. Taking into account that a semivalue induces semivalues on lower cardinalities, we prove that its weighting coefficients can be reconstructed from the last ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Goodness of fit tests in random coefficient regression models [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
Random coefficient regressions have been applied in a wide range of fields, from biology to economics, and constitute a common frame for several important statistical models.

Authorship of scientific articles within an ethical-legal framework: quantitative model

open access: yesUniversitas Scientiarum, 2012
Determining authorship and the order of authorship in scientific papers, in modern interdisciplinary and interinstitutional science, has become complex at a legal and ethical level.

A low-complexity subtraction-based weighting coefficient for synthetic aperture ultrasound imaging

open access: yesScientific Reports
A major challenge in medical ultrasound beamforming is developing algorithms capable of producing high-resolution images. The minimum variance (MV) algorithm achieves higher resolution than the delay-and-sum (DAS) approach but suffers from high ...

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...
