Welding Characteristics in Deformation Resistance Welding
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2008<div class="htmlview paragraph">Deformation Resistance Welding (DRW) is a process that employs resistance heating to raise the temperature of the materials being welded to the appropriate forging range, followed by shear deformation which increases the contacting surface area of the materials being welded.

Luders Deformation in Weld Joints
Steel in Translation, 2018The elastoplastic transition in welded low-carbon steel samples is considered. Two methods of manual arc welding of floating-electrode type are employed: a traditional steady arc; and pulsed welding with controlled heat consumption. In terms of the structural characteristics and mechanical properties of the welded metal, the methods are identical.

Deformation Welding Of Scintillating Materials
MRS Proceedings, 1994ABSTRACTExperiments on connecting scintillating crystals to form homogeneous pieces by means of plastical deformation are described. Optical transmission, radiation hardness, and scintillation spectra have been used for the evaluation of the quality of the bond.

Welded truss deformation under thermal influence
Scientific journal of the Ternopil national technical university, 2022The article studies some deformation features of the full-scale physical model test of the 2000x400 mm rectangular welded truss at thermal influence ranging from 20 to 160°C. Numerical information based on the values of deformations at seven control points of the truss for chords and nodes was obtained as a result.
