Taming Flexibility: Synergistic Pore and Polarity Engineering in a MOF for High‐Efficiency Xe/Kr Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Through a mixed‐ligand strategy that precisely regulates pore size and framework polarity, the Xe adsorption behavior is transformed from flexible to near‐rigid. ZIF‐7‐Cl(20) achieves sensitive recognition, efficient capture, and high selectivity for Xe, enabling high‐efficiency separation from Xe/Kr mixtures.

Control of welding distortion in thin plate fabrication : Design support exploiting computational simulation

open access: yes, 2014
The uneven process of heating and cooling during welding can cause distortions in the metal components which create residual stresses. Welding distortion is a particular problem in fabricating thin-plate structures, such as ships.

Resource‐Aware Contrastive Scattering Meta‐Learning for Efficient Few‐Shot Acoustic Anomaly Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This paper introduces a resource‐aware Contrastive Scattering Meta‐Learning (CSML) framework for acoustic anomaly detection. By leveraging training‐free wavelet scattering and metric‐based meta‐learning, the model achieves competitive performance with only 50 K learnable parameters—a 98% reduction compared to state‐of‐the‐art frameworks—enabling ...
