Exceptional Antimodes in Multi‐Drive Cavity Magnonics
Driven‐dissipative cavity‐magnonics provides a flexible platform for engineering non‐Hermitian physics such as exceptional points. Here, using a four‐port, three‐mode system with controllable microwave interference, antimodes and coherent perfect extinction (CPE) are realized, enabling active tuning to antimode exceptional points.

Optical Whispering-Gallery-Mode Microbubble Sensors
Whispering-gallery-mode (WGM) microbubble resonators are ideal optical sensors due to their high quality factor, small mode volume, high optical energy density, and geometry/design/structure (i.e., hollow microfluidic channels). When used in combination with microfluidic technologies, WGM microbubble resonators can be applied in chemical and biological

Liquid Droplet Microresonators
We provide here an overview of passive optical micro-cavities made of droplets in the liquid phase. We focus on resonators that are naturally created and suspended under gravity thanks to interfacial forces, illustrating simple ways to excite whispering ...

Whispering-Gallery Mode Resonators for Detecting Cancer [PDF]
Optical resonators are sensors well known for their high sensitivity and fast response time. These sensors have a wide range of applications, including in the biomedical fields, and cancer detection is one such promising application. Sensor diagnosis currently has many limitations, such as being expensive, highly invasive, and time-consuming.

Spatial Multiplexing of Whispering Gallery Mode Sensors
Whispering gallery mode resonators have proven to be robust and sensitive platforms for the trace detection of chemical and/or biological analytes. Conventional approaches using serially addressed resonators face challenges in simultaneous multi-channel (i.e., multi-species) detection.

Ultra-thin curved visible microdisk lasers with three-dimensional whispering gallery modes
Microdisk lasers are important components in photonic integrated circuits (PICs), of which the whispering gallery modes (WGMs) are usually confined within a two-dimensional (2D) planar slab.

Recent Advances in Stimulated Brillouin Scattering in Integrated Photonics
This review systematically surveys recent advances in stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) within integrated photonics. It begins by elucidating the fundamental mechanisms of stimulated coupling between photons and acoustic phonons in nanoscale waveguides, enhanced by the photoelastic and moving boundary effects.
