Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

We introduce high thermal conductivity aluminum nitride (AlN) as a transparent ceramic host for Ce3+, a well-known active ion dopant. We show that the Ce:AlN ceramics have overlapping photoluminescent (PL) emission peaks that cover almost the entire ...

Quantum Dot–Polyfluorene Composites for White-Light-Emitting Quantum Dot-Based LEDs
Colloidal quantum dots (QDs) are a promising luminescent material for the development of next generation hybrid light-emitting diodes (QDLEDs). In particular, QDs are of great interest in terms of the development of solid-state light sources with an ...

Three-Color White Photoluminescence Emission Using Perovskite Nanoplatelets and Organic Emitter
Three organic blue-light-emitting tetraphenylethylene (TPE) derivatives that exhibit aggregation-induced emission (AIE) were used as additives in the preparation of inorganic perovskite-structured green-light-emitting materials for three-color white ...

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

Cosmic Infrared Background Fluctuations and Zodiacal Light
We have performed a specific observational test to measure the effect that the zodiacal light can have on measurements of the spatial fluctuations of the near-IR background.

Low-dimensional metal halide hybrids (OIMHs) have recently been explored as single-component white-light emitters for use in solid-state lighting. However, it still remains challenging to realize tunable white-light emission in lead-free zero-dimensional

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Low-dimensional lead-free luminescent halides have emerged as highly promising phosphors for white-light emission. Recently, we reported a broadband blue-emitting copper(I) iodide-based material, Cs3Cu2I5, with a high photoluminescence quantum yield ...
