Whitehead's Ethics: Fill in the Blanks

Process Studies, 2023
AbstractThe recent publication of the stenographer's transcript of Whitehead's guest lecture on “social ethics” has shed new light on the relation between his metaphysics and ethics. Instead of including ethics in his philosophy, Whitehead treats it as a distinct, specialized science that does not share in the universality of metaphysics.

The whitehead Heritage

The Mathematical Intelligencer, 1997
J. H. C. Whitehead (1904-1960) was one of the important topologists of his generation. The present article was written on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Whitehead's birth. Whitehead and the Philosophy of Time

1972
In this paper I examine the approach of philosophers and others interested in describing our direct human experience of time, and the difficulties involved in reconciling such descriptions of time, with those given by scientists. The views of Merleau-Ponty and Husserl are compared with those of Whitehead.
