A Theoretical and Experimental Study of Oil Wicking Mechanism of Kapok Fibrous Powder Assembly
Kapok fiber has a large lumen with a natural waxy surface which endows it with distinct hydrophobic-oleophilic properties. Oil-impregnated kapok fibrous powder (KFP) has great potential as a lubricant carrier material.

The incorporation of nondigested ECM and synthetic polymers into a co‐electrospinning system enables the decoupling of bioactivity and mechanical properties within a single wrap. This technique is used to develop a multifunctional bone wrap that achieves augmented membrane durability, sustained infection control, and enhanced vascularity for use in ...

Field experiment on a vegetation-wicking geotextile-reinforced base for a permeable sidewalk
Wicking geotextiles have proven effective in reducing water content in road bases under both saturated and unsaturated conditions, thereby increasing granular base strength and mitigating moisture-related damage to the pavement.

Hybrid Nanofibers for Multimodal Accelerated Wound Healing
Fabrication of wound healing scaffolds based on biocompatible nanofibers. Nanofibers offering high surface area, flexibility, and biocompatibility significantly improved the healing outcome in vivo. Histological, immunological, and anti‐inflammatory markers are noticeably better in treated wounds.
