A novel wideband circular patch antenna for wireless communication

2014 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation Conference Proceedings, 2014
An innovative wideband planar antenna is presented for mobile communications. The proposed planar antenna consists of four pairs of arc dipole, a balun for unbalance-balance transformation, and a conductor ground for gain enhancement. The prototypes of antenna is fabricated and measured.

Wideband Stacked Microstrip Patch Antenna for Wireless Communication

2008 IEEE International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Processing with Applications, 2008
A wideband stacked microstrip patch antenna is presented. The proposed structure combines the merits of the stacked patch antennas and L-shaped feed for broadband operation. This paper presents extended E and H shaped patch stacked with rectangular patch (53 mm times 35 mm).

Design of A Wideband Patch Antenna for THz Photonic Transmitter

Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Computing and Wireless Communication Systems, 2017
The paper presents the design of a wideband patch antenna for Continuous Wave terahertz photonic transmitters and their applications. In this work, the proposed structure was optimized by an EM solver integrated in ADS "Advanced Design System" named Momentum and the circuit is mounted on substrate which is based on GaAs substrate composed from ...

A WIDEBAND HYBRID PRINTED MONOPOLE/RECTANGULAR PATCH ANTENNA

International Journal on Wireless & Optical Communications, 2007
This paper deals with a novel hybrid antenna configuration for broadband application. Broadband performance is achieved by electromagnetically exciting a planar rectangular patch with rear-mounted strip monopole antenna. The antenna has an overall dimension of 40.5 × 45 × 3.2 mm3 including the feed line and the ground plane.

Wideband L-probe patch antenna

2018
The two related feeding techniques, namely, the L-shaped probe and meandering probe (M-probe), for broadening the bandwidth of patch antenna are reviewed. The L-probe has a simple structure and wide bandwidth whereas the M-probe has low cross polarization and a symmetric radiation pattern within the operating frequencies.

A wideband capacitively fed circular-E patch antenna

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2000
A wideband circular-E patch antenna with an air substrate and a capacitive feed is proposed. The circular-E patch is formed by inserting a pair of wide slits at the boundary of a circular patch, and the capacitive feed has a small metallic disk placed below the circular-E patch, supported by a conducting post, which is then connected to a 50 Ω SMA ...

A Wideband Curved Patch Antenna With Coplanar Microstrip Feeding

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters
ABSTRACTWe present a wideband curved patch antenna with direct coplanar microstrip feeding. The patch substrate is derived from a solid of revolution generated using a parabolic profile that rests on a planar substrate. The proposed antenna takes advantage of the local increase in substrate thickness in the patch region to improve the reflection ...

Wideband circularly polarized patch array antenna with shared patches

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters
AbstractIn this paper, a novel wideband circularly polarized (CP) array antenna is proposed. The array element is composed of four driven patches, four parasitic patches, and a loop feeding structure. On the basis of the array element structure, 1 × 2 and 2 × 2 arrays with shared patches are formed separately.
