5G Wideband Stacked Patch Antennas

2021 15th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP), 2021
Wide bandwidth requirement is one of the main challenging issues in 5G antenna technology. To satisfy this, the design of a stacked low-profile patch antenna is proposed. The design has been optimized via an optimization tool based on Particle Swarm Optimization integrated with the finite integration technique (FIT). The proper shaping of the objective

Wideband patch dipole antenna

2005 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2005
A novel wideband patch dipole antenna is proposed and simulated by Ansoft HFSS. Calculated results show that the relative bandwidth can reach 66.7% with VSWR less than 2. A model antenna is fabricated with microstrip structure. Good agreement is achieved between experimental and simulated results.

Wideband triangular patch antenna

IEE Proceedings - Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation, 1999
A wideband single layer triangular patch antenna fed by an L-shaped probe is proposed. It achieves 42% impedance bandwidth (SWR/spl les/2) and a maximum gain of 6 dBi. A foam layer of thickness /spl sim/10% of the operating wavelength is used as the supporting substrate. The radiation pattern is stable across the passband.

Wideband Circularly-Polarized Patch Antenna

2005 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference Proceedings, 2006
In this paper, a novel wideband circularly-polarized patch antenna is presented. The patch antenna is excited by a broadband feed network having a 10-dB return loss bandwidth of 86% and a consistent 90/spl deg/ (/spl plusmn/ 3/spl deg/) phase difference between two output ports over a wideband of 76%. It is found that the antenna can deliver a measured

Miniaturized, Wideband Fractal Patch Antenna

IEEE/ACES International Conference on Wireless Communications and Applied Computational Electromagnetics, 2005., 2005
In this paper a novel reduced size and wideband fractal patch antenna is introduced. Because of it's likeness to butterfly it has been named fractal butterfly patch antenna. By its comparison to conventional square patch antenna more than 68% size reduction at third iteration of fractal is achieved. Then by utilizing a T-probe feeding method, up to 13 %

Wideband Fractal Vertical Patch Antenna

IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2007
A wideband vertical patch antenna (VPA) is depicted, which is devised from fractal antenna technology. By using a dual-Koch loop structure, a wideband VPA with 42% bandwidth and 8 dBi gain at the center frequency is designed and tested. Symmetrical broadside patterns are obtained at the passband.
